This fall, Mobilize Recovery is headed to Los Angeles! Their annual bus tour will commence with a massive, free event in Los Angeles co-hosted by End Overdose and CCAPP on September 20th. Located at the Friendship Auditorium in Griffith Park, expect an exciting evening of speakers, music, vendors, food trucks, brand activations, voter education, and the opportunity to sign the Mobilize Recovery tour bus. The event is graciously supported by iHeartMedia, Meta, SAMHSA, and the Opioid Response Network.
SPEAKER: DANNY TREJO
The Mobilize Recovery launch event will be headlined by a talk from movie star Danny Trejo. Known for his expansive career in film – an instantly recognizable face no matter the role – he also has decades in recovery and will share a powerful message of hope to our attendees. Danny is the co-chair of this year’s Mobilize Recovery bus tour and an integral part of the nationwide initiative.
MUSIC: NOAH THOMPSON
American Idol winner and rising country artist Noah Thompson will perform an intimate set at the Friendship Auditorium. Praised by the likes of CMT for his “magnetic stage presence and soaring pipes,” CMT adds that “Thompson’s jaw-dropping vocal control and clear sound are destined to catapult him to stardom.” His performance is a can’t-miss part of our evening with Mobilize Recovery.
MUSIC: EMILY ROSE & THE ROUNDERS
You can also expect a stripped-down performance from Emily Rose & the Rounders. They’re a traditional country band based out of Los Angeles, California, founded by Emily Rose after the split-up of other country outfits. Rose is currently on a nationwide tour with country star Orville Peck that runs through October 2024.
