Mike Giegerich here! I’m End Overdose’s Director of Communications, and I’m excited to share what our team has been up to over the past month with our new stakeholder update.
Our July Statistics
- We reached 50,000+ people
- We distributed 13,700+ doses of naloxone
- We distributed 4,000+ fentanyl test strips
- We trained 3,800+ people
Our New Chapters
In case you missed the announcement, we're excited to share with you that we've added 20 new chapters nationwide and now have 50 chapters total. It's a massive moment in overdose prevention and response across campuses and communities in need of lifesaving resources.
Community Trainings
We trained 12 different companies and organizations across Los Angeles including Tao Group Hospitality. They invited us to train members of their staff at TAO, The Highlight Room, LAVO, and The Fleur Room. We’re grateful to provide our lifesaving education and resources to community members like the Tao staff.
End Overdose Live
End Overdose volunteers reached thousands of attendees at Day Trip Seattle in partnership with our friends at Insomniac. We look forward to training more headliners at Insomniac festivals in the coming months!
Rave Wonderland and LICKNDIP also made us a part of their underground techno night. We had a blast providing our lifesaving education and resources to attendees!
Our Volunteer of the Month
Congratulations to our volunteer of the month Grey Savo! He's a highly valued member of the End Overdose family who has trained people on how to save a life at countless events in Southern California.
